ATV Instructor recognized for training 500 students

ATV education and safety instructor of the year
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has named Jay Peterson of South Metro ATV Club as its 2010 DNR volunteer ATV Instructor of the Year. Certified in 2005, Jay currently serves as the lead instructor for South Metro ATV Club and has overall responsibility for the training program. SMATV conducts 6 classes a year at the Dakota County Fairgrounds. Jay's passion for teaching our youths how to operate ATV's safely while respecting the environment is an inspiration. Congratulations Jay!
